2011 Women's Health Event - February 5, 2011


Annually, Scotland Memorial Foundation sponsors the Women's Health Event, a quality program offering women of all ages an opportunity to learn more about important health issues, safety, fitness, and more - all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

The Eighth Annual Women's Health Event is scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church. The all-day event promises to be one of the best offered. You'll be treated to:

A keynote address by humorist Kim Wietkamp. Kim is a storyteller, humorist, and musician sharing her original stories and songs throughout the United States.
Four breakout sessions on topics of your choice
Health screenings: cholesterol, blood pressure, bone density, body fat, height and weight.
Refreshments throughout the day
A delicious lunch
A gift bag full of goodies
Door prizes
Exhibitors
And much more

The Cost
There is a nominal fee of $20 per person, which covers the entire day, including the health screenings. However, attending the Women's Health Event is possible for any woman through the fundraising efforts of Scotland Memorial Foundation. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
